Evening – Anand Karaj

Our sacred and traditional Sikh ceremony rooted in faith, commitment, and community.

Dress Code:  Indian / National Attire Encouraged. This is your moment to lean into colour, embellishment, and celebration. Bold colours and sparkle encouraged.

Night – Sangeet

A joyful evening of music, dancing, and celebration following the Anand Karaj.

Cultural notes:

The Haldi (or Mayan) is a pre-wedding ritual where turmeric is shared for good luck, joy, and blessings.

An Anand Karaj is the Sikh marriage ceremony, centred on spiritual union and equality.

A Sangeet is a joyful gathering where family and friends come together to sing, dance, and celebrate the newlyweds.

Dress Code Guidance:

For the morning ceremony, please wear outfits you’re happy to get stained with turmeric. This is a sacred ceremony, thank you for dressing respectfully.

For the evening celebrations, think joyful, celebratory, and dance-ready. feel free to go much bolder than the morning’s attire. Yellows, marigold, coral, pink, turquoise, mint, and other joyful brights.
